APB Webinar
February 1, 2012 – 4:00p EST/1:00p PST AND 7:00p EST/4:00p PST
The newest course in the CASE family will be in field test this fall. The CASE writer in charge of the development of the APB course will provide an overview of topics and lessons that will be included in the APB curriculum. Participants in this webinar will learn how CASE designs lessons to be teacher friendly by providing all of the curriculum resources a teacher needs in order to provide challenging instruction every single class period. This webinar will also provide an overview of how CASE professional development prepares a teacher to be successful using CASE materials and how CASE continues teacher support long after a CASE Institute.
A must for all participants is to review the information about APB on the CASE website found at http://case4learning.org/curriculum/aap-biotechnology.html. The CASE staff is committed to developing courses using the best and most real-life instructional approaches possible. APB will not be a course of simulations and paper cut-outs, rather APB students will be performing biotechnology procedures as laboratory technicians.
