The following are topical areas of study that potentially will be included in the future CASE™ Natural Resources and Environmental Science™ (NRES) course. These topics were part of a brainstorming session involving Teacher Leadership Team participants during the CASE™ Principles of Agricultural Sciences – Plant™ planning session in July of 2008.

Please note that the procedure to develop CASE curriculum requires a panel of content experts representing secondary and post-secondary agricultural education and industry representatives specializing in the field of study for the desired course. This committee will meet to determine key concepts that students must know and understand regarding the topic of natural resources and environmental sciences. From the derived list of concepts, topical areas of study will be defined that may or may not match the list above.
