Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources
Introduction to Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR) will serve as the introductory course in the CASE sequence of courses. It is designed to introduce students to the four pathways that will be offered through CASE. In addition to a brief overview of animal science, plant science, natural resources, and agricultural technology and systems, students will explore FFA, leadership, and science in agriculture.
Currently in development, AFNR is scheduled to be field tested in 2010-2011 and released nationally in the spring of 2011. For more information on the course description and course concepts, explore the links below. Please note that these are in DRAFT form and will not be finalized until the writing of the course is completed.
