Sara has been working with CASE since 2014, when she became a Lead Teacher. She is certified to teach Introduction to Agricultural, Food, and Natural Resources, Principles of Agricultural Science - Animal, Principles of Agricultural Science - Plant, Food Science and Safety, and Agricultural Research and Development. In 2015, Sara became the CASE Online Learning Coordinator and is focused on the growth and development of CASE Online. In 2018, Sara also took on responsibilities related to professional development coordination.
Before becoming part of the CASE team, Sara was a high school agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor in New Jersey for seven years. During her career in education, she earned a Masters of Education in curriculum and instruction with a focus on learning design and technology. Sara is passionate about effectively integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement and comprehension. Sara’s family currently owns and operates a lumber mill and she remains involved in the local agricultural community as a 4-H volunteer.
