John Deere founded Deere and Company in 1837. The company was built on the values of integrity, quality, commitment, and innovation. John Deere is the world's leading manufacturer of farm equipment and also lead the world in building forestry equipment.

John Deere is committed to environmental stewardship, safety, and improving communities. John Deere has continually stepped up to support the quality of life in the communities where their employees live and work, as well as around the world. In 2013, more than 3,300 john Deere employees volunteered a total of nearly 90,000 hours in their communities, which benefited 787 nonprofit organizations.

CASE leadership is grateful for John Deere's sponsorship of the CASE Agricultural Power and Technology course. The Agricultural Power and Technology course utilizes inquiry-based activities, projects, and problems that focus upon the form and function of material, machines and tools used in agriculture. In this course, students apply technical skill while becoming competent in the process that is used to operate, repair, engineer and design agricultural tools and equipment.
