Trans Canada

TransCanada is committed to be the leading energy infrastructure company in North America, with a strong focus on pipelines and power generation. However, TransCanada’s commitment is to not only build pipelines. They are also committed to building relationships through collaborating with community groups, supporting local initiatives, and encouraging their employees to be involved in their neighborhoods.

Giving back to the communities where TransCanada operates is part of their everyday culture and has been for over 60 years. In 2013, TransCanada directed more than $12.7 million to more than 1,600 non-profit organizations across North America. They support organizations and initiatives that bring communities together, develop leadership and engage citizens.

CASE leadership is proud to have TransCanada as a sponsor of the CASE Agricultural Power and Technology course. In this course, students are immersed in inquiry-based activites, projects, and problems that focus upon the form and function of material, machines and tools used in agriculture. In this course, students apply technical skill while becoming competent in the process that is used to operate, repair, engineer and design agricultural tools and equipment.
