With the goal of supporting workforce development and sparking student interest in the equipment manufacturing industry, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), in partnership with the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) and the Farm Equipment Manufacturers Association (FEMA), are generously sponsoring Agricultural Power and Technology (APT) and Mechanical Systems in Agriculture (MSA) CASE Institute scholarships for agriculture teachers. Generous support from Cargill and the CHS Foundation through the National FFA Foundation provide partial CASE Institute scholarships for award winners. Please note, this excludes Clinton and Essex counties in New York and Cheshire, Coos, Grafton and Sullivan counties in New Hampshire. Corteva Agriscience™ generously sponsored CASE Implementation Grants for agriculture teachers and university programs offering pre-service CASE certifications. The deadline to apply was October 31, 2019. Applicants will be notified of their grant status in mid-December.
This is the seventh year in a row this program, formally known as the DuPont Pioneer CASE Implementation Grant Program, offered grants to public and private schools and universities to assist with the implementation of CASE. Teachers applied for grants up to $5,000 for implementing the CASE program in their schools including teacher professional development at a CASE Institute and purchasing classroom equipment and resources. Pre-service programs applied for up to $7,500 for hosting a CASE Institute for pre-service teachers. We are grateful to Corteva Agriscience for their support!
