Scholarships and Grants

Financial Assistance

CASE Sponsors make scholarships and grants possible for the teachers and programs seeking financial support to implement CASE. 

A second round of scholarships has been opened with the remaining funding available for 2026. Please review the available scholarships below and use the links to the right to access the corresponding scholarship opportunity. 

 

CASE Institute Scholarships

All new and current agricultural instructors are welcome to apply. CASE Scholarships are available for teachers planning to attend CASE Institutes in the summer of 2026. CASE Institutes are hosted from June to August. Applicants must identify their top three CASE Institute selections. 

2nd Round Partial Scholarships Available: Dollars will be directly applied to registration costs for a CASE Institute through a coupon code; remaining balances are the responsibility of the teacher or school. 

  • Ag Mechanics Scholarship: $1,500 | APT or AEMT CASE Institutes
  • Farm Credit East Regional Scholarships: $1,250 | Teachers from CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, NY, NJ, and VT for any CASE Institute.

Complete Scholarships Still Available: 20 Recipients will be selected annually for the Texas State USDA APT grant.

  • Texas State APT Institute: $2,650 | USDA Grant Funded for teachers with 0-4 years of experience. Preference given to teachers in the local region. Participants are responsible for all travel expenses and dinners. Double-occupancy hotel housing is included.

Ag Equipment Maintenance and Technology (AEMT) Material Grants 

Schools with a High School Teacher seeking AEMT certification in 2026 are eligible to apply.

To be eligible for these grants, each school must:

  • Have a teacher attend the AEMT CASE Institute this summer at SUNY Cobleskill.
  • Have a teacher who instructs at least one CASE AEMT Course during the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Prepare an application with supporting documents, and submit the complete package electronically by the written deadline.
  • Complete the AED High School recognition application while attending the AEMT CASE Institute.

Grant Award Available: Applicants will be selected to receive a $7,500 grant for CASE AEMT Materials. After completion of the CASE AEMT Certification and AED high school recognition application, materials will be shipped directly to the teacher’s school.

Application Timeline: Due by March 20, 2026.

CASE AEMT Grants are made possible by:

 

Implementation Grants

Middle school, high school, and pre-service teachers who teach at least one CASE Course or schools that plan to expand or start CASE programming are welcome to apply. Grants can include requests for equipment, materials, and/or software funding from CASE Vendors to facilitate CASE courses. 

Grant Funds Available: up to $5,000.00 per applicant.

Awarded funds will be sent to the school via check.

Application Timeline: October 29, 2025, through an extended deadline of December 15, 2025!
