Effective January 1, 2025, lodging and meal costs are no longer included in registration costs. Host accommodations are optional and payable to the third-party vendor, as detailed below.
Lodging Location: UAF Dorms - MSB Complex

Lodging Price: $60/night (single dorm), $80/night (double dorm - you + guest or another teacher)

Description: Single and Double occupancy dorm rooms. Cotton sheets, pillow, towel, and a small fan are provided. No A/C available in Alaska dorms. Payment for housing for Sunday - Friday is directly through UAF. Breakfast is provided with the dorm rate. Participants staying at the dorms are walking distance to the classroom and Dine 49. Transportation to and from the airport are upon request to and from the CASE Institute site. There is Campus Shuttle to and From Dine 49/Wood Center and Upper Campus.
Ability to come in early and or stay after training, any extra payments need to be taken care of individually for the extra payment.
Lunch & Dinner: During the in-person component, participants receive daily lunches and one evening meal from the host. Other meals are provided by the participant. AAANRE suggests budgeting $30-35/meal during tourist season.
Travel: Travel to Alaska is not included with registration.
